Mangy fox spotted in Hilltown. How to protect pets from mange from wild animals
Residents of Hilltown Township in Upper Bucks County spotted a wild animal on Monday that appears to have mange. Residents posted a photo of the animal in a local Facebook group, expressing concern about their pets catching the skin disease, which is caused by mites. The animal was seen across from the Hilltown Township municipal building, one resident said.

NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia man saw his minimum prison term reduced by one year after a Montgomery County judge reconsidered the sentence she imposed last December after a jury convicted the man of charges he assaulted a Pottstown man with a metal pipe during a dispute in the borough.
Bethlehem Township considers regulating vacant properties
BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. – The Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners reviewed changes to codes and ordinances Monday night at the administration building. The first involved a township code governing vacant property. The township's current definition will be deleted entirely and replaced with a definition which states "any building that is uninhabited; or, not in use for which purpose the land or building is designed, arranged, intended or for which it is or may be occupied or maintained."
New program streamlining protection from abuse orders shown to Souderton council
SOUDERTON — A new Montgomery County program to aid domestic violence survivors was highlighted at a Souderton Borough Council meeting. Titled “Hope Card,” the program provides a free, business-card-sized document to recipients of a final protection from abuse (PFA) order. The document lists key information from the order, including the names of the plaintiff and defendant, the issue date and the Protection from Abuse Database (PFAD) number, enabling law enforcement officials to quickly verify an active protective order in the event of a PFA violation.
