FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCBD)- There are still many visitors in town for the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

The beaches especially have been packed…

Thousands of people, like Asaria Usher and her family, made their way to our beaches for the fourth.

“It’s been really good. It’s been hot I’ll tell you that, but really good so far,” Usher said.

Visitors say the crowds have been big, but manageable.

“It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I think once the afternoon it’ll start getting packed. So far it’s been decent but I am nervous for the afternoon,” Usher said.

However, loving all the crowds, are businesses on Folly like The Drop In.

“We have been definitely slammed with the Fourth of July and the nights. It’s been great having some locals and tourists check out our new sign and everything going on with the drop it,” manager, Grace Dufresne said.

The Drop In, just adding coffee to their menu, saying it’s a fun time of year to be on Folly, especially during this holiday week, “We’re just going to continue and enjoy it while we can,” Dufresne said.
