Shelley Duvall passed away on Thursday July 11th at her home in Blanco, Texas. The cause of death was complications from diabetes and news of her death was confirmed by her partner Dan Gilroy.

(CBS DETROIT) - A 14-year-old boy died after getting tangled in a boat propeller near an island located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, officials said. At 8:31 p.m. on Tuesday, Chippewa County Central Dispatch received a report of a boating accident between Drummond and Howard Islands. Authorities learned a 14-year-old boy had fallen off of a boat, was run over and had gotten tangled in the propeller. The woman operating the boat immediately disengaged the motor and jumped in the water to assist the boy. She also flagged down a fisherman passing by the area for assistance. They got the 14-year-old out of the water and transported him to Drummond Island, where he was turned over to EMS. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Drummond Island Fire and Rescue, EMS, Central Dispatch and the Chippewa County Victim Services Unit assisted the sheriff's office, The investigation is ongoing.

CBS affiliate WTAJ-TV reported that the boy was driving a Yamaha on Augustine Road in Milford Township on Monday when he crashed into a John Deer front-end loader. Police reportedly said the boy, who was driving at a high speed, and the driver of the John Deer tried to swerve to avoid each other but crashed.

Four people are dead after a man intentionally started a fire at his home on Wednesday, according to Florida officials. Five firefighters were injured on Wednesday as they fought the Quarry Fire. That fire started on Tuesday night and has burned more than 340 acres in Jefferson County. It was zero percent contained as of Thursday afternoon. Four of the firefighters suffered heat exhaustion and one firefighter had a seizure. All of them are expected to fully recover. The fire is located near the intersection of West Deer Creek Canyon Road and Grizzly Drive. And because of the need for water from aerial teams, Colorado Parks and Wildlife has closed nearby Chatfield Reservoir in Chatfield State Park to boating.There were about 75 firefighters battling the fire on Wednesday morning, and the terrain where the fire is burning is steep and rough. There's also a concern about firefighter safety because the burn area includes an area known for rattlesnakes.The American Red Cross set up a shelter for evacuees at Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton.
