Say goodbye to sad, soggy sandwiches.

This year, we’ve seen nearly every chain from Wendy’s and 7-Eleven to even KFC get into the fashion game, and now we can add one more to the list: Jimmy Dean.

    Yes, the sausage company.

Jimmy Dean has partnered with social media star and fashion designer Joe Ando to create a new limited-edition tote bag, which the company says is “bringing breakfast back into style,” which begs the question of when breakfast ever went out of style in the first place.

The bespoke shoulder bag comes in one of two prints and is made of thick canvas featuring a “Western-meet-New York City motif” (bet you haven’t heard that one before), which Jimmy Dean says nods back to the company’s roots and current base.

And while the exterior is cool, the features inside the bags are even better: There are two dual interior pockets and a custom warming pouch designed to fit the company’s breakfast sandwiches. While that pouch won’t cook your sandwich for you, the good news is that once you’ve taken your food out of the microwave, it will keep it hot until you get to work — kind of giving a whole new meaning to the term “sandwich bag.”

“This is a first-of-a-kind experience and very cool challenge to design something with dual-utility function like The Griddle Bag,” Ando said in a statement provided to Food & Wine announcing the bags. “I had a lot of fun taking the iconic look of the Jimmy Dean brand and coming up with two distinctive looks that blend our worlds. I’m excited for all who snag a free bag and can’t wait to see how they put it to use.”

If Ando’s name sounds familiar, his designs have graced a lot more than breakfast sandwich bags. Both Dakota Johnson and Millie Bobbie Brown have been seen out sporting his designs, and Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, wore one of Ando’s designs at this year’s Democratic National Convention.

In addition to dropping the new bag, Jimmy Dean is also launching new Jimmy Dean Griddle Cake Breakfast Sandwiches that feature pancakes as the bread portion of a sandwich. The frozen sandwiches were already available in maple, and now, a new blueberry flavor is hitting store shelves. Inside both the maple and blueberry varieties, you’ll get a sausage patty, egg, and cheese.

The sandwiches will be available in the freezer aisle at your favorite grocery store. If you want to get your hands on one of those signature bags, however, you’ll need to be prepared to do a little more work. They'll be going on sale via a special website dedicated to the promotion starting on Thursday, September 19. Only 50 of the bags will be released each day while supplies last, and sandwich enthusiasts will receive one of the two designs.

Bags will, of course, also come with a voucher so you can pick up a Jimmy Dean frozen product to fill it with.
