Few people pique our interest more than celebrity chefs. After all, they’re famous, charismatic, and bursting with the talent to make beautiful, delicious food that nourishes our bodies and our souls. We’d even go so far as to say that certain celebrity chefs are the reason many of us fell in love with cooking in the first place. With that adoration comes trust. We trust that these chefs know what they’re talking about when it comes to the best cooking tools , so we eagerly listen to what they have to say.

The internet is full of clues as to which tools our favorite celebrity chefs use. Whether they come right out and say it or subtly but repeatedly use the same product on their shows and Instagram reels, it’s easy to identify their favorites. So, from cutting boards to kitchen shears , these are the most beloved cooking tools from eight of our favorite celebrity chefs.

    Celebrity Chefs’ Go-To Kitchen Tools

Le Creuset Cast Iron Signature Dutch Oven

    Amazon

    $280

When CNN asked Giada De Laurentiis about her kitchen must-haves , she enthusiastically sang the praises of Le Creuset’s Signature Dutch oven , saying that it’s “fantastic for soups, stews, sauces, ragus and anything that requires long cooking time. The cast iron allows it to heat more evenly without burnt patches.”

Le Creuset isn’t exactly a well-kept secret, and for good reason. Many celebrity chefs (as well as countless others) have also publicly praised Le Creuset at one time or another. The signature Dutch oven is a staple in so many kitchens because it is truly a fantastic product. The sturdy cast iron warms quickly and distributes heat evenly, perfectly browning, braising, and roasting anything you have on the menu. Of course, the wide selection of colors is beautiful, too. De Laurentiis recommends finding one to match your kitchen decor and storing it right on the stovetop for all to see.

    John Boos Cutting Board

    Amazon

    $201

I’ve always been a big fan of Michael Symon. He has remained charmingly authentic and humble throughout his career in the public eye while simultaneously dominating as a culinary mastermind. As an avid watcher of many of Symon’s Instagram reels , I’ve noticed the same cutting board used repeatedly, no matter what Symon seems to be making — a large model from John Boos .

In a Facebook video , Symon discusses cutting board maintenance and mentions that his board is roughly 15 years old. The bad news here is that finding the exact model he’s using may be a challenge, but the good news is that his Boos board has lasted 15 years of obviously considerable use. That’s no wonder when Boos boards are made to last for life with their superior craftsmanship. “A good one will last forever, a lifetime — you’ll never need to replace it,” says Symon.

    Shangpeixuan Pizza Pan Gripper

    Amazon

    $13

Leave it to Alton Brown to introduce us to the tool we never knew we always needed. In a recent Instagram reel , Brown, in his signature style, reveals to the viewer a few items he has in his kitchen drawer, singing the praises of some and brazenly ridiculing others. (Our deepest sympathies to the garlic press.) A few tools in, Alton pulls a mysterious item from his drawer of tricks and says, “Here’s something you don’t see every day!” then, he explains what we found to be a pizza pan gripper after a bit of googling. Brown explains that this tool is useful for its intended purpose and for rotating and adjusting pans in the oven. Genius.

While Brown didn’t mention the model of his gripper, we found this one on Amazon that appears to be perfect for everything he discussed and more. This gripper is made from heavy-duty cast aluminum and will withstand high temperatures and keep you safe from burns.

    Shun Small Kitchen Shears

    Amazon

    $56

    $40

In his partnership with Shun Cutlery in this Instagram reel , chef Andrew Zimmern prepares a Japanese shrimp meatball dish that looks incredible. After cleaning the shrimp, he uses these small kitchen shears from Shun to easily cut into the shell of the shrimp and remove it completely with zero mess or fuss. It’s quite an impressive move and one we’re eager to try with these shears.

Shun’s impressive shears are made from durable stainless steel and easily come apart for simple cleaning. We also love the ergonomically designed grips that are padded for extra comfort.

    Scanpan Professional Nonstick Pan

    Amazon

    $120

However you feel about Gordon Ramsay, there’s no denying he’s an excellent chef. In a tutorial made for MasterClass , Ramsay reveals that his number one kitchen essential is a nonstick pan from Scanpan.

The recycled squeeze-cast aluminum construction of Scanpan cookware distributes heat quickly and evenly and works on any cooktop with or without oil. The versatile 11-inch frying pan is an excellent choice for cooking any of your favorite foods that love to stick to the pan.

    Klaqqed Metal Spatula

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0wXQFx_0vZDeZFP00

    Amazon

    $10

Rick Bayless is one of our favorite authorities on Mexican cuisine. His Salsa Macha recipe alone is enough to make anyone a fan. In one video , Bayless explains his few “ essential pieces of cooking utensils ,” starting with a humble, small, square spatula.

While Bayless doesn’t say the exact spatula brand he prefers, this one on Amazon seems to be an almost identical match. We love the large wide, polished surface of this model, with its three beveled edges perfect for flipping, cutting, and serving.

    Eddeas Cooking Tongs

    Amazon

    $12

    $11

Sometimes, it’s the most humble of kitchen tools that our favorite chefs love the most. More than anyone, they understand that with great ingredients and a little passion, there’s no need for a ton of extra bells and whistles in the kitchen. That’s why we love Cat Cora’s choice of tongs as one of her four must-have kitchen tools . “[Tongs] made the list because they can be used for several different things. I use mine to toss salads and pastas. If I have something high up on a shelf and can't reach it, my trusty tongs come to the rescue.” We’re glad to hear we’re not the only ones who use tongs to reach the top shelf.

This set of kitchen tongs is constructed of food-safe stainless steel, has a convenient locking and pull-down design, and includes three versatile sizes, perfect for reaching anything in the kitchen.
