Let’s face it: You love bacon, but you hate the greasy mess that comes with cooking it. Splatters are rarely contained to the stovetop, so the clean-up takes double the time of the actual cooking. Then there’s the waiting, as you carefully lie each slice on a paper towel and allow it to drain, hoping to achieve a perfectly crisp end product. (That is — unless you like limp bacon).

Well, we found a tool that eliminates all of this fuss. One shopper claimed they’ve “searched for years” to find it. This functional microwave bacon grill results in mess-free cooking and creates a crispy little outcome every time. The biggest perk of all? It’s only $14 at Amazon.

Progressive International’s bacon grill allows you to cook four to six pieces of bacon in the microwave in minutes flat. The ridged design elevates the bacon, allowing the fat to drip off as it cooks. This results in a crisp and flat piece of bacon that is not sopped down with excess grease, and can be enjoyed immediately on its own or incorporated into your favorite recipe .

The grill’s vented cover prevents grease splatters, keeping everything contained in one drainable and dishwasher-safe unit.

One Amazon reviewer called this grill a “must-have for perfect bacon,” adding that it’s versatile enough to use for other ingredients, like sausages and snacks. “It’s held up for years and is a staple in my kitchen,” they wrote. Another five-star reviewer said they use it for cooking both bacon and sausage “I don’t get burned, no mess in the kitchen, and it's quicker than cooking on the stove,” they added.

A third shopper called this grill “a real game changer,” saying they enjoy bacon, but don’t like cooking it because of the mess. “This solves that problem perfectly,” they wrote, adding that it takes just minutes thanks to its smart design.

With more than 19,600 perfect ratings and a $14 price tag, this microwavable grill is a no-brainer purchase. The word is out, so place this in your cart now and get it delivered before your weekend breakfast-prep rolls around.

There is no mess free way to make bacon. Best I’ve come up with is in the oven. I don’t eat bacon, but my husband does. Thankfully, it’s starting to give him heartburn.
