Do you need a pizza right now? As in, right this second or your football viewing, birthday bash, or ruined dinner party may go haywire? That's OK. Domino's has your back.

On Tuesday, the pizza chain announced the return of its Emergency Pizza Program, offering people a free medium, two-topping pizza "whenever they need it most."

“We launched our Emergency Pizza program last year, and customers loved it so much we knew we had to bring it back in a big way,” Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president — chief brand officer, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “Life can throw unexpected curveballs, and sometimes a hot, delicious pizza is just what you need to turn things around. Maybe you tested a new dinner recipe that turned out to be a disaster, or perhaps you ran out of time to buy groceries — whatever your emergency, Domino’s is here to help with a free pizza.”

    Here's how it works.

According to Domino's, all you need to do to receive an Emergency Pizza is place a delivery order online or a digital carryout order of $7.99 or more. After the order is confirmed, customers will automatically receive a Domino’s Emergency Pizza under “My Deals & Rewards” in their Domino’s Rewards account. (So, if you're not a Domino’s Rewards member, just make sure to sign up at dominos.com/rewards to get the emergency pizza perk.) Any Domino’s customer who places the qualifying online order today through Jan. 19, 2025, can redeem that order at any time.

But that's not all. Domino's also announced it's partnering with some rather interesting brands so customers can get even more freebies or discounts.

“We’re excited to launch a series of new, unexpected brand partnerships that consumers can have fun with," Trumbull added. "Domino’s has partnered with Amazon and Twitch, as well as Olive & June, to bring Emergency Pizza to life in two completely different yet very entertaining ways."

For its Amazon and Twitch partnerships, Domino's has been integrated into the new Fortnite game, The Glitch. Domino's explained that in the game, players can experience a Domino’s-branded “Red vs. Blue” player map where teams can compete against each other for “Domin-ation” by capturing and maintaining control of a Domino’s storefront. And players also get access to a secret weapon — Emergency Pizza. "In case of an emergency, they can 'break the glass' to collect it and fully restore their team’s health," Domino's explained.

As for its partnership with the beauty company Olive & June, the pizza chain announced customers can buy a Domino’s and Olive & June Pizza Mani Emergency Kit, which includes two nail polish colors – carryout (red) and delivery (blue) — quick-dry polish, top-coat, and pizza nail stickers, or Domino’s and Olive & June instant mani press-on nails that come with fun designs reading “I Heart Pizza French,” “Secret Sauce Velvet,” or “Extra Cheese Please.” The goodies will be available exclusively on oliveandjune.com starting on Oct. 17, 2024.

Lastly, if you know anyone deserving or in need of an Emergency Pizza, you can always buy them a Domino’s emergency gift card on dominos.com.
