(CHICAGO) It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas as Chicago's beloved outdoor holiday tradition, Christkindlmarket, is back on this year after taking last year off during the pandemic. Visit the Daley Plaza now as it's transformed into a German village with live music, food, drinks, and shopping.

The market runs in the Daley Plaza until December 24, although the Wrigleyville location will be open through December 31.

Check out Tchibo Coffee while you're there

While you're at the market, don't forget to stop by the Tchibo coffee booth (at the corner of Dearborn and Washington Street,) where you can get a free cup of hot, freshly made coffee during the afternoon and evening hours on Thursdays through Sundays until December 19.

"We are thrilled to give Chi-Town a taste of Tchibo cheer," said Chris Mattina, CEO of Rainmaker Food Solutions, in a press release. "I can't think of a better way for attendees to experience what makes Tchibo so special than at the most authentic holiday market of its kind outside of Europe."

    What makes Tchibo coffee different?

Tchibo is recognized for its sustainable and fair trade practices. The company offers a bean-to-brew coffee maker, which will be available for testing out at the holiday booth.

It's a nifty machine with a touchscreen design where you can easily customize the strength of your coffee and the grind setting.

A reviewer of the coffee system on BestProducts.com reported that the grinding and brewing process took her all of three minutes. And the best part, it doesn't use plastic pods, so this coffee machine is sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Amazon reviewers are mostly positive about the Tchibo Coffee Machine, giving it 4.7 out of 5 stars, with one reviewer stating, "I was skeptical. I was wrong! This machine is tremendous!"

How to get more free stuff

Tchibo said in its press release if you post photos on Instagram or Facebook and tag Tchibo, you will get a special sample.

Where else can I find Tchibo coffee?

Tchibo has created four varieties for the U.S. market: Morning Blend, Columbia Origin, Classic Blend, and Röstmeister. You can find them in the Chicago area at Jewel-Osco and Meijer stores.
