Twitter user Danny Deraney recently asked this question to the Twitterverse, "You walk into the mall food court of your youth. What is the first place you are hitting up?"

The thread went viral with Millennials and Gen X remembering the old days of roaming the mall with their friends and hitting the food court. With online shopping so popular today, many malls have closed or are nearly vacant, and some of the former mall restaurants are hard to find.

The glory days of the mall being a prime hangout spot are in the past. The question from Deraney struck a chord among Twitter users, with two top mall restaurants trending overall.

Orange Julius for the win

The consensus among Twitter on their favorite food court memory seems to be Orange Julius, with a slice of Sbarro pizza following a close second.

Some runners-up include Cinnabon, Chick-fil-A, Hot Sam, Hot Dog on a Stick, Mrs. Fields, Panda Express, and Original Cookie Co.
