Grab a butterbeer and enjoy themed photo-ops at the Harry Potter pop-up bar in Lincoln Park

A Very Harry Winter returns this season for a limited time at Replay Lincoln Park.

(CHICAGO) It's back in time for the holiday season. The vintage video games bar, Replay Lincoln Park, at 2833 N. Sheffield Avenue, has turned its upstairs bar into a Harry Potter-themed pop-up bar for the third season.

Chicagoans can step into the cozy Christmas scene at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and drink butterbeer and other themed drinks amid wreaths, fake snow, garlands of Hogwart houses, levitating candles, and other Harry Potter props.

“Nothing says the holidays more than a quick trip to Hogwarts. Back by popular demand, this pop-up always delights Chicagoans and Harry Potter fans alike, so we thought it was perfect timing to once again bring it back for everyone to enjoy,” Replay owner Mark Kwiatkowski told Secret Chicago.

The Replay is known for its pop culture events

The vintage video games bar goes all out for its themed events. Past popular pop-ups include The Office, Shrek's Swamp, Central Perk Coffee Shop, and Moe's tavern.

What's on the menu?

Of course, you can get the famous butterbeer made with vanilla vodka, Amaretto, butterscotch, cream soda, and whipped cream.

Also on the drink menu include themed cocktails such as:

• Sorting hat: Bourbon whiskey, nutmeg syrup, and apple cider
• Rubeus Hagrid: Black strap rum, coffee liqueur, Irish stout, and chocolate bitters
• Golden snitch shot: Whiskey, mango, and orange

Look for the hidden Easter eggs

True fans of Harry Potter should try and spot the hidden Harry Potter Easter eggs located around the bar. And on Thursdays, the Replay offers trivia nights on Thursdays, where just like Hermione, you can show off your knowledge.

Holiday Beer Tasting at Hogsmeade

Tickets are available now for a special event. A Holiday Beer Tasting at Hogsmeade happens on December 22 from 7 to 9 PM.

What are the details?

A Very Harry Winter runs now until December 31st. The bar is open until 2 AM every day and 3 AM on Saturdays.

Walk-ins are welcome, first come first served. The Replay does warn that customers have been experiencing waits between 8 and 11 PM.
