Here's one of the new state parks right here in Maryland that you should definitely explore before it becomes widely known.

The Wolf Den Run State Park in Maryland is considered a must visit state park in America.

Their website says,'' Wolf Den Run State Park is a 2039 acre multi-use park that offers opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, birdwatching, hunting, and ORV riding. This park has an expanding network of trails offering access to the largest collection of ORV trails in Maryland. Protects areas of sensitive wetland ecosystems in the Huckleberry Rocks area as well as provides three miles of river access along the north branch of the Potomac river. It also protects and provides access to two cold water trout streams; Short Run, and the park’s namesake, Wolf Den Run.''

The Discoverer website says,'' Wolf Den Run State Park, Maryland purchased in 2017 by the state of Maryland, Wolf Den Run isn’t your average state park. The parcel of land, which includes varied terrain of mixed forest, rocky bluffs, and trout streams, was once used for coal mining on the West Virginia border. It also includes nearly three miles of river frontage on the Potomac’s North Branch. As of July 2019, ORV enthusiasts can enjoy 12.5 miles of rocky, bumpy, and wet terrain in the Huckleberry Rocks area of the park, although reservations and a small fee are required.''
