I am constantly on the hunt for new and exciting restaurants to review for my food blog, and I just found Taqueria Habanerowas in College Park. If you're a foodie looking for quality at a reasonable price, you'll love this hidden gem in a shopping center that made it onto the DC Michelin Bib Gourmand list.

    Menu Highlights:

    • Tacos (including unique offerings like Polpo and Chapulín)
    • Sandwiches
    • Main Dishes
    • Desserts
    • Cocktails

Tacos al Pastor were the most memorable dish for me. Marinating the pork in a mixture of spices and chilies before slowly cooking it on a vertical spit is an intriguing part of making this dish. On top of soft corn tortillas, with thinly sliced pineapple, cilantro, and onions, it is served. The sweetness, heat, and saltiness of the pineapple make for an interesting flavor profile.

Every mouthful is a pleasure because the meat is so juicy and tender. With their fresh tortilla chips and outstanding green salsa, it's a flavor adventure you won't want to miss.

Not only is the food delicious at Taqueria Habanero, but the atmosphere is also very appealing. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, and the service is friendly as well.

Taqueria Habanero serves up delicious, creative Mexican food to college students and anyone else looking to sample some of the best Mexican food around. It was an unforgettable experience all around, and I can't wait to go back for more than just the food.

Location: 8145 Baltimore Ave Suite A&B, College Park, MD 20740
