Bo Jackson ‘s feats in both baseball and football made a cross trainer the perfect fit for his signature shoe. The Nike Air Trainer SC High originally released in 1990, the year in which he tied an MLB record by hitting a home run in four consecutive at-bats for the Kansas City Royals and coming off his career best season for the Los Angeles Raiders. Now, the shoe is back in Raiders colors just in time for the new NFL season.

The Nike Air Trainer SC High “Raiders Away” features a mix of white, black and grey to represent the team now playing in Las Vegas by way of Oakland. White leather forms the base and collar of the shoe, while grey suede is used for the overlays and black forming the Swoosh. The Air-equipped sole unit then features a mix of all three colors with black on the outsole.

Originally known as the Nike Air Trainer SC 3, the Air Trainer SC High was the third sneaker marketed and worn by Jackson, even though none of them carried his name. It was featured in the iconic “Bo Knows” campaign that ran in 1989 and 1990 highlighting the versatility of his cross-trainers by putting him in tennis, hockey, basketball, running and cycling in addition to the two sports in which he excelled. Now that he’s a highly skilled bowhunter, the shoe would probably serve him well there, too.

The most beloved edition of the Air Trainer SC High is “Auburn,” which features the blue and orange of his alma matter. However, anytime the shoe drops in home or away colors for the Raiders is still very much welcomed by sneakerheads as well.

The Nike Air Trainer SC High “Raiders Away” is out now through Nike’s website , with all but some of the largest sizes still available. Pricing is set at $135.
