Nike and the MoMA Design Store have maintained a fruitful relationship for years, resulting in several buzzy product releases, most notably the Off-White by Virgil Abloh x Air Force 1 in 2018. The next phase of this relationship will include more limited drops, starting with socks.

Available now is the MoMA x Nike Everyday Sock, which features both Swoosh and MoMA branding on the calf, as well as “Just Do It” stitching at the toe. Also, the socks were designed with shock-absorbing soles and a moisture-wicking uppers.

The socks can be purchased now via the MoMA Design Store website, as well as at MoMA Design Store locations in the U.S. They come in five colorways — “Lucky Green,” “Pinksicle,” “Signal Blue,” “White” and “Amarillo Yellow” — and retail for $18 for non-MoMA members and $16.20 for members.

Nike confirmed in a statement that more limited-edition and co-branded MoMA products will be announced at a later date. Looking ahead, Nike said in a statement that eat co-branded release “will underscore the connection between movement and design while offering a reminder that inspiration is often exemplified in everyday objects.”

Nike’s relationship with the MoMA Design Store and The Museum of Modern Art’s curatorial program extends well beyond the aforementioned socks and Off-White by Virgil Abloh x Air Force 1 (which were accompanied by a co-branded MoMA x Nike Elite basketball sock ). For instance, there were three examples of the original 1980 design for the Air Force 1 included in the MoMA exhibition “Items: Is Fashion Modern?” in 2017. It featured 111 clothing items and accessories that Nike explained “have had a strong impact on the world in the 20th and 21st centuries.”
