Beyoncé Celebrates Her 43rd Birthday Wearing Green Pucci Sandals

A belated happy birthday is in order for the one and only Beyoncé , who turned 43 on Sept. 4.

The “Cowboy Carter” singer shared a post to social media acknowledging the special day. Posing in a beautiful beach locale and looking ready to hop on a Vespa, Beyoncé celebrated the occasion in a green Pucci ensemble including striking heeled sandals.

Beyoncé wore a fitted outfit in which the top and bottom featured distinctive abstract patterns in an earth-toned color palette, showcasing the colorful designs Pucci is known for. The top portion resembled the brand’s Vivara print with a range of geometric designs while the miniskirt portion featured wavy stripes reminiscent of an animal print.

The skirt featured a ruffled edge while the sleeves of the top were two different widths, lending the outfit an asymmetric quality. Meanwhile, the multi-hyphenate accessorized with a headscarf, sunglasses (two different pairs were showcased in her photos) and long sheer green gloves.

Beyoncé’s unique Pucci shoes featured puffy satin straps with a lively pattern in various shades of green; this design of slanted stripes is referred to as the brand’s Iride print. A strap wrapped across the toes while another stretched diagonally across the top of the foot; a strap encircling the ankle included a black velcro fastener. The shoes are given a boost by a 120 mm stiletto heel. From Mytheresa or Farfetch , the vibrant heels retail for $1,020.

From the Renaissance stage to the Grammys, Beyoncé’s footwear style is wide ranging. Since the release of “Cowboy Carter,” the superstar has been leaning into country fashion, showing off a variety of different boots this year. She wore a white pair from Paris Texas on the album cover itself and a pair from Chloé at a Los Angeles record signing.
