Lauren Sanchez is currently promoting her new children’s book “The Fly Who Flew to Space” in a variety of stylish outfits. The author and reporter was a guest on “Good Day New York” on Sept. 12, discussing her latest venture in powder blue pumps from Le Silla.

Sanchez appeared to be wearing the Zanda denim tweed mini skirt from the brand Cinq à Sept, which retails for $325 from Neiman Marcus. In a deep shade of indigo, the skirt features frayed light blue hem below satiny dark blue trim. There is also trim surrounding two pockets on the front of the A-line skirt.

Sanchez chose a top that picked up the lighter accents in her skirt, wearing a sky blue long sleeve collared blouse with vertical frills surrounded either side of the buttons lining the front of the shirt. She added extra glamour to the look with diamond stud earrings.

Sanchez coordinated her apparel and footwear by selecting a pair of light blue pumps from Le Silla . The brand’s Ivy pump distinguishes itself from the common pump with a curvy outline along the vamp, which adds a touch of stylish whimsy to the look. The curves contrast the shoe’s pointed toe, which aligns with the usual angularity of a pump’s front portion.

The shoes are covered in suede, with Sanchez wearing the brand’s “hydrangea” hue. The children’s author was provided with additional height by a 120 mm stiletto heel with a slightly tapered design. The shoes are available in other floral hues from Le Silla, currently marked down 40% to $477.60 from an original price point $796.

Sanchez recently celebrated the launch of “The Fly Who Flew to the Moon” wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps with an Oscar de la Renta dress. She was also in attendance at The Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner on Sept. 9 wearing black platform sandals with another Oscar de la Renta gown.
