Adidas has a new one-piece, 3D-printed sneaker that has the internet buzzing, and it looks like it could be released in the US soon.

Previewed Friday by sneaker photographer Tyler Mansour on social media, the Adidas Climamog takes the brand’s breathable Climacool concept to new extremes.

According to Adidas’ official product description, the Climamog is inspired by running shoes — which is evident by its sleek, streamlined silhouette — but intended for casual wear. Its upper is made of 100 percent polyurethane and is 3D-printed to achieve the lattice-like look throughout the upper. The Climamog emphasizes ventilation with breathable openings throughout the entire shoe, even extending to the sole.

There is currently an air of mystique around the Climamog. Mansour’s Friday reveal didn’t include a model name. A nondescript greeting card included with Mansour’s sneaker shipment, which the photographer said arrived unannounced, teased that the fully 3D-printed shoe would deliver “what ‘comfort’ really feels like.”

Meanwhile, on some of Adidas’ Asian e-commerce sites including Malaysia and Singapore , the Climamog has already been released in an Off-White style (SKU JQ8739). On those sites, its retail pricing is RM629 and S$219, respectively, which converts to a US price point between roughly $146 and $168 based on current rates.

While a stateside launch has not yet been confirmed, a recent US Customs and Border Protection tariff classification ruling hints that the futuristic shoes will be released in America. It adds that the Climamog is “3D printed in a small size and is baked to achieve the desired full size and having a mesh design.”

Adidas first introduced Climacool technology on its footwear in 2002 with the Climacool running shoe , which featured breathable cutouts that extended to the bottom of the shoe. The concept is also frequently seen on Adidas performance apparel.

As for 3D printing, Adidas has used it in various capacities including its Futurecraft sneakers and even adding 3D-printed soles to classic golf shoes . However, the fully 3D-printed Climamog is brand’s biggest leap yet when it comes to the technology.

More details on the US launch of the Adidas Climamog are expected to be announced soon. For now, readers can find a detailed look at the shoes in two colors below.
