Catherine O’Hara Gets Added Height in Hidden Platform Christian Louboutin Shoes at 2024 Emmys

To play supportive friend to former coworkers Eugene and Dan Levy at the 2024 Emmy Award ceremony on Sunday, Catherine O’Hara brought out the glamor. But to properly show off her glistening gown, the actress needed a pair of tall, platform heels to reach the right height.

O’Hara attended the event wearing a floor-length custom gown from Oscar de la Renta. The option was a silver embellished gown, with a floral design. The silhouette featured long sleeves and a high neck.

While on the red carpet, the gown grazed the round, courtesy of a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. The silver shoes are the company’s Sandaloo sandal. They feature an open toe as well as an ankle strap. The foot is otherwise exposed.

They feature a wide heel as well as a chunky platform. They add over five inches to the wearer’s height.

The shoes include Louboutin’s now classic red sole. Louboutin’s Sandaloo is currently available for $1,295 .

Unsurprisingly, O’Hara is not the only person to wear Louboutin on the Emmys red carpet tonight. RuPaul wore the brand’s studded Chelsea boot featuring a thick Cuban heel. Lisa Ann Walter wore a pair of gold platforms from the brand. Those also featured a peep-toe, but unlike O’hara’s featured a knotted design as well as a skinny stiletto heel. Walter’s were similar to one pair of Louboutin sandals Zendaya wore to the Met Gala earlier this year . O’Hara also wore Louboutins recently while promoting her latest film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice , in which she costarred alongside Jenna Ortega.

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Dan and Eugene Levy, takes place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The award show is held to celebrate the best of television, awarding major players in the industry for their talents. Some popular shows nominated for awards this year include “Fellow Travelers,” “Fargo,” “Baby Reindeer,” “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans,” “Griselda” and “True Detective: Night Country.”
