Zoey Deutch got fancy in elevated slingback pumps and a glamorous dress while walking around New York City on Monday morning as she headed for an appearance on “CBS Mornings.”

Discussing her new broadway show, a revival of Emily Webb’s “Our Town,” Deutch sported  a pair of brown espresso subtle-yet-elegant slingback pumps that were constructed with a triangular design on the upper, and also featured a slingback design for extra security. Crafted with patent leather, the shoes were completed by a razor sharp stiletto heel that measured in-between 3-to-4 inches in height.

The “Vampire Academy” actress’ outfit of choice for her interview was a vintage-style espresso brown crocheted halter dress that featured slender brown straps and eloquent layering accompanied by a slightly see-through design. Accentuating her outfit were a pair of dangling gold earrings that complimented her updo hairstyle.

Pointed-toe pumps with a slingback design are now regarded as classic model that blend together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion . Many brands such as Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season, and many celebrities including: Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Princess Beatrice, Doja Cat and plenty of others have been spotted wearing the style over the course of 2024 thus far. With the fall season quickly approaching, many are now opting to include the shoes within their daily wardrobe more often.

Minimalist pumps are a staple in Deutch’s wardrobe. For example, in October 2022 , she attended a Tiffany & Co.’s launch in a classic pair of pumps that were crafted with pointed toes and curved counters, and featured glossy patent leather uppers. Though her heels were not visible, stilettos totaling 4-5 inches in height likely completed the set, which were paired alongside a black minidress that featured a sleeveless silhouette with a slim-fitting skirt, accented by thin straps and a flounced bodice.
