Former Shreveport Times theater critic Lane Crockett, who spent decades keeping actors and actresses on the edges of their seats waiting to read his words, has died. Crockett, 83, passed away Friday at Willis Knighton Pierremont due to complications to ongoing vascular issues he had been dealing with, according to longtime friend John Gayle.
