SPD investigating fatal vehicle collision involving a motorcycle
Officer Daniel Strassenberg Public Information Office. On August 29th, 2024 just before 2:30pm, 911 was advised of a vehicle collision at Sprague and Freya involving a motorcycle and a semi-truck. Officers arrived on scene quickly and closed down the intersection. The motorcyclist was given emergency medical aid at the scene, but succumbed to his injuries. The other involved driver has been contacted by law enforcement.
