Food assistance program shifting to Scottsville Church of Christ as need grows
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) – Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland (FAKH) has announced a pivotal change in its efforts to combat food insecurity in Allen County. True Gospel Fellowship Church, a longstanding partner since 1998, is transitioning its food assistance programs to Scottsville Church of Christ to better meet the community’s growing needs.

Events set for children tonight, Friday, July 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Fulton for "Christmas in July" activities have been cancelled because of weather conditions, according to Fulton Tourism Director Kenney Etherton. Twin Cities businesses will continue to offer special Christmas in July sales and discounts today. All events scheduled for Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in downtown Fulton, are still on, according to Etherton, which will include music and Santa visits during that time in downtown Fulton's Ventures Village, and special Christmas in July sales and discounts from local Twin Cities businesses.
