KISS star cuts ribbon at opening of rock-themed restaurant at Forest County casino & hotel
CARTER, Wis. (WLUK) -- A new rock-inspired restaurant and entertainment venue in Forest County officially opened Tuesday, with a little help from a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer. KISS co-founder Gene Simmons was in attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Rock & Brews restaurant at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Carter. He and Paul Stanley were there when the project broke ground in Sept. 2023.

Crandon International Raceway caps off 31st annual Brush Run
CRANDON, Wis. (WJFW) - This weekend thousands of people traveled to Crandon International Raceway for the 31st Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run. Despite the less than favorable conditions to start the weekend the show continued on with over 15 different races taking place throughout Sunday. While there are many different races that happen throughout the weekend, Marty Fiolka says a unique aspect of the event is its ability to bring people all across the country to the Northwoods.
KISS star to appear at debut of second Rock & Brews restaurant in Wisconsin
Legendary rock star Gene Simmons of KISS is returning to Wisconsin to help open the second state location of his Rock & Brews restaurant. Simmons will make an appearance July 2 at Potawatomi Casino Hotel Carter in Forest County to cut the ribbon on the new Rock & Brews location. The next day, he'll appear in Milwaukee to perform with the Gene Simmons Band on the Milwaukee Rock & Brews stage in a performance that's open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
