The third annual Beaverton Lagerfest is right around the corner.

Hosted by the Beaverton Downtown Association, this year’s Lagerfest will feature about 25 local breweries set up on Broadway Street from 2-6 p.m. Sept. 7.

“Whether you’re craving a light and crispy pilsner or a dark and malty German-style dunkel, Lagerfest offers the perfect opportunity to sample a variety of beers and celebrate the vibrant Portland Metro area's beer scene,” BDA said in a press release.

Participating breweries include local favorites such as Great Notion, Migration, Silver Falls, and Steeplejack. Attendees will be able to sample beers and learn about the brewing process as Broadway Street closes to vehicle traffic. Additionally, downtown Beaverton’s Binary Brewing will release an exclusive lager that will only be available the week before and during the festival.

Along with the brews, a variety of food vendors will be available, including Mid City Smashburger and Chicago Pizza. The event will also feature live performances and a DJ, as well as Lagerfest t-shirts screen-printed onsite by Rise Street & Sign.

Lagerfest is family friendly, and Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District will organize a kids’ section on East Street with a variety of activities and crafts.

Tickets to the festival cost $35, and include a souvenir mug and enough tickets for 10 three-ounce tastings. For ticket purchases and more information, visit downtownbeaverton.org/event/lagerfest-2024 .
