Headlining the first-ever Beaverton Music Fest is local celebrity Jacquie Roar, whose country tunes propelled her to the finals on “The Voice.”

From noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, five other musicians will open for Roar at Schiffler Park, located at 5495 S.W. Erickson Ave.

    The lineup is as follows:

Noon to 1 p.m.: Girl Crush, featuring five powerhouse female vocalists.1:30-2:30 p.m.: Wren the Band, performing soul-folk music.3-4 p.m.: NW Rhythm & Blues, playing — you guessed it! — a collection of R&B.4:30-5:30 p.m.: Soul Sacrifice, a Santana tribute band.6:15-7:45 p.m.: Richie Bean & the Midnight Travelers, performing original songs and covers from the 60s and 70s.8:30-10 p.m.: Jacquie Roar.

Food trucks, local artisans and a beer garden will also be onsite at the free, family-friendly event. The Beaverton Music Fest is the last of three new city-supported events that were wrapped into the city’s 2024-25 budget and scheduled for this summer.
