School board candidates Ashley Bulmer, Jill Christenson, and Todd Proulx are facing legal issues with alleged campaign violations regarding a lack of disclaimers on signs. A judge of the Office of Administrative Affairs recently found probable cause of a violation of a campaign law which requires certain campaign material to include a disclaimer notifying readers who prepared and paid for the material. Girls soccer ends six-game skid
The Forest Lake Rangers girls soccer team ended their six-game losing streak when they tied 1-1 against North Branch on Saturday, Oct. 1. The Rangers went 0-2-1 last week with a 2-1 loss against Park of Cottage Grove on Tuesday, Sept. 27, and a 3-1 loss against Roseville on Thursday, Sept. 29, before tying with North Branch. Senior forward Natalie Daniels, who has a team-leading nine goals this season, scored all three of Forest Lake’s goals last week. The Rangers are 1-7-1 since starting the season 3-1.
