VDACS accepting applications for Beehive Distribution Program
HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is accepting applications for its annual Beehive Distribution Program. The program began back in 2018 and was introduced in response to growing concerns over the declining bee populations around the U.S. Its goal is to help increase bee populations around the state.

SPARTA, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said two earthquakes hit the North Carolina and Virginia border Wednesday morning. According to the USGS, the first earthquake hit 4.9 miles east southeast of Sparta, North Carolina at 12:34 a.m. It had a magnitude of 2.2 and a depth of 4 kilometers.
VA Advised to Take Controversial Winter Dredge Crab Season off the Table Until 2026
