Father of suspect in Myrtle Beach killing of Roanoke teen arrested
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF/WDBJ) - New documents reveal the father of an 18-year-old charged in a fatal Myrtle Beach shooting was also arrested last weekend. Gary Jaquise Abraham is facing a murder charge and other counts linked to the shooting death of Jakolbi Taylor, a 16-year-old from Roanoke who was in the area for an AAU basketball tournament. Abraham is accused of opening fire on Taylor and others at the 16th Avenue North beach access July 20.
