Woman charged with theft from multiple Fayetteville-area graves
A Sanford woman is accused of stealing at least 100 copper, brass and bronze vases from graves at two Cumberland County cemeteries last summer. Savannah Grace Bourgeois, 21, was booked into the Cumberland County Jail last week on two counts each of disturbing a casket or grave marker, felony larceny and obtaining property under false pretenses, and one count each of possession of stolen goods and felony conspiracy. Walter Pennington’s made his MLB debut for the Kansas City Royals Friday night against the Colorado Rockies. Priority 4-star target names South Carolina football on list of favorites
The South Carolina football program has two commitments in the class of 2026 (the number dropped from three recently when 4-star quarterback Landon Duckworth backed off of his Gamecock pledge). 4-star linebacker Rodney Colton and in-star offensive lineman Anthony Baxter are the two future Gamecocks already in the class, but USC has made moves to put themselves in solid position with multiple other prospects in the '26 cycle.
