Foreston Fun Days is returning to the small town from July 19-21 for a jam-packed weekend of entertainment.

Festivities begin Friday, July 19, at 4 p.m. with the Foreston Relief Association’s annual Hog Roast Supper at the Foreston Fire Hall.

After eating your fill at the hog roast, sign-ups will begin at 5 p.m. for the Digger Derby, with the derby starting at 5:30 p.m.

Following the derby, at the Foreston On/Off Sale Liquor Store and Bar will be a frozen T-shirt contest starting at 7:30 p.m.

To close out the night, Jasmin and the Gents will take to the street outside of the bar for a street dance starting at 9 p.m. Jasmin and the Gents are a variety cover band that performs music from the top ’40s hits, classic rock, rock, R&B, country, blues, pop, and some of the oldies.

Moving into Saturday, July 20, events kick off at 8 a.m. with a softball tournament.

Then at 10 a.m. a craft and vendor fair and a classic car show will begin on Main Street near the bar.

At 11:30 a.m. bicycle safety will be discussed at the Foreston ballfield.

The highlight for many during Foreston Fun Days is the annual parade that will take place at 1 p.m. The parade will march through the main streets of Foreston following the traditional route.

Immediately following the parade at 2 p.m. a Side by Side Flotilla will be at the bar, and at 3 p.m., a Sustainable Safari will be held at the ballfield.

Sign-ups for the corn hole tournament will begin at 4 p.m. with the tournament starting at 4:30 p.m. until the winner is declared.

To end Saturday’s events, another street dance will begin at 9 p.m. at the bar featuring Last Minute Heroes. The Last Minute Heroes are a wild, fun, and energetic band from the Upper Midwest that performs music from radio’s rock party hits.

To close out the events of Foreston Fun Days on Sunday, July 21, the last games of the softball tournament will play out starting at 8 a.m. until a winning team is declared.
