LOWER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. — A popular Louisiana-based chicken finger fast food chain is set to open its doors to the Lehigh Valley in August. Raising Cane's will open at 6240 Hamilton Blvd. in Lower Macungie on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Workers were at the location Thursday and confirmed the opening date.

Station Road in Quakertown closed due to spill
QUAKERTOWN, Pa. - Bucks County Communications reports Station Road is closed between Old Bethlehem Road and Fairview Drive due to a spill or leak from a truck. Crews are working to clean up the scene, but 69 News was told the process could take up to several hours before the road re-opens.

A Franklin County man faces up to 30 years in prison for making online threats against a state senator, his county commissioner and a member of the National Guard. Court documents say Richard J. The specialized cultural agency of the United Nations has extended its recognition of the Moravian Church Settlements around the world to include sites in Germany, the United States and Northern Ireland. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on Friday designated the settlements of Herrnhut in Saxony in eastern Germany, Bethlehem in Pennsylvania in the United States and Gracehill outside Ballymena in Northern Ireland as World Heritage Sites.
