Detectives were able to determine the make and model of the suspect’s car, which was eventually located. Evidence collected from the car showed that it was the vehicle that struck and killed Boyland.

McGregory was identified as the driver of the vehicle at the time of the accident, police say.

He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving the death of a person and negligent homicide. His bond is set at $125,000.
