Monday mule meeting at Whitefish Credit Union
Sophie, Penny, Peaches, Saltese, Rufus and Judy, six mules who pack crews in and out of the Bob Marshall Wilderness, visited the Whitefish Credit Union for a lunchtime meet and greet Monday. DREAM Adaptive Recreation, Flathead Rivers Alliance, Two Bear Therapeutic Riding Center, Whitefish Legacy Partners and the Bob Marshall Foundation were also on hand to share information and encourage the community to lend support during the Challenge, which runs through Sept. 13. The Whitefish Credit Union supplied carrots to children and adults to share with the mules. Saltese sported a Decker pack saddle at the Meet the Mules event Monday.
