SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va – An opioid treatment pilot study conducted at Shepherd University has been accepted for publication in the medical journal “Photobiomodulation, Photomedicine, and Laser Surgery.” “Transcranial Photobiomodulation Therapy as an Intervention for Opioid Cravings and Depression: A Pilot Cohort Study” is the first global transcranial study focusing on PBM and opioid use disorder.
Woman violently attacked, tased by juveniles at L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station
WASHINGTON - A woman contacted FOX 5 after being assaulted at the L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station in Southwest D.C. The victim, Martha Dulko, says she was viciously hit in the head multiple times by a group of juveniles and even tased. She now has a concussion but is thankful to be alive.

Another dog has been stolen, this time from a car in Southeast Capitol Hill. On Saturday, July 13, at around 12:58 p.m., a woman left a dog and her purse in her car while parked in the 1900 block of M Street SE, a relatively quiet block along the river where the Anacostia Community Boathouse is located, along the river south of the Congressional Cemetery.

Hot dogs recalled because of lack of inspection
CLEVELAND, Ohio – AW Farms is recalling about 6,900 pounds of hot-dog products produced without federal inspection, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. The Argillite, Kentucky, company produced the ready-to-eat hot dogs on various dates since approximately May 30, the FSIS said.
