(FORT CARSON, Colo.) — Fort Carson Army Post announced that the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade will conduct an aerial gunnery training exercise from Wednesday, July 10, through Sunday, August 25, and that neighboring communities should expect increased noise.

The training will take place towards the southern end of Fort Carson, where helicopters will be flying low and practicing maneuvers.

A Fort Carson spokesperson said, “Fort Carson is dedicated to being good neighbors and will continue to inform the public about training events that may affect surrounding communities. We strive to balance our training requirements with respecting our neighboring communities.”

Noise complaints during this time should be directed to the Fort Carson Public Affairs Office at (719) 526-9849.
