Voice of Longhorns Craig Way Recaps Texas 1st Round Win Over Colorado State

Craig Way, play-by-play voice for the Texas Longhorns and host on AM 1300 The Zone, joins Next Up to recap the Longhorns defeating the Colorado State Rams 56-44 in the first round of the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Texas held Colorado State to only 11 points in the first half, and Way says the victory was a credit to Texas' defense. "They're going to need a lot of that against one of the best teams in the country in Tennessee."

Way also comments on the Houston Texans as they prepare for the 2024 NFL Draft. After general manager Nick Caserio traded out of the first round, some Longhorn football players, such as defensive lineman T'vondre Sweat and wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell, might be available in the second round. The Texans "can hardly do wrong if going with any of those guys" because "you can make noise without a first round pick."
