Ethan Morton announced his commital to Colorado State Monday, a little over two weeks after entering the transfer portal.

Morton announced alongside fellow senior Mason Gillis that he was leaving Purdue shortly after the Boilers' April 8 National Championship loss to University of Connecticut.

The 6-foot-7 senior guard will head out to Fort Collins, Colorado, to join the Aggies who went 25-11, 10-8 in Mountain West Conference play, and made it to the first round of the NCAA Tournament, where they lost 56-44 to No. 7 seed Texas.

Morton played in 37 of Purdue's 39 games in the 2023-24 season, averaging 10 minutes, down to 2.5 minutes in its last 11 games. He started almost every game in his junior season, and he became a defensive specialist by then, coming in to get stops that won't show up in the boxscore.

Morton averaged 2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in his four years as a Boiler, and he will have one more year of eligibility to give Colorado State.
