Repaving work on Laurel Street near Colorado State University starts July 8

Repaving on Laurel Street along the north side of Colorado State University will likely cause some delays through the end of July and possibly into August.

West Laurel Street between South Shields and South Mason streets will undergo concrete repairs starting Monday, July 8. The work is expected to take about three or four weeks, weather permitting, according to the city of Fort Collins.

Drivers and bicyclists should be aware of changing traffic patterns, including lane closures and shifts. Access to residences and businesses will remain open. Sidewalk detours will also be in place.

Work will typically be done from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, though work could occur outside those hours. Alternate routes are suggested during those working hours.
