David B. Wilson, age 61 of Evart, formerly of Warren, passed away unexpectedly at home, on May 16, 2024. He was born in Warren, MI, on November 8, 1962, to Ronald and Frances (Puzio) Wilson. David graduated from Warren Woods High School in 1980 and resided in the City of Warren all his life, except for the last 17 months, where he enjoyed retirement, living and fishing on Saddlebag Lake.

Richmond parish festival on the go with fan-favorite events
St. Augustine Catholic Church is on the go with golfing, a cruise-in and cornhole this summer, as the church’s annual Parish Festival returns to Richmond Aug. 8 to 11. Festival Chairperson Valerie Oehmke said via email on July 5 that the St. Augustine Parish Festival remains the church’s largest fundraiser of the year. With summer in full swing, the Croswell City Council met this past Monday to provide citizens with construction updates and future Pioneer Days Exploratory Meetings. Despite running into some hurdles with asphalt top coating, council members reported that work on Wells Street is still going strong. A formal construction meeting will be held next week to discuss the official start date for Ward Street. It was also announced that the July 1 Pioneer Days Exploratory Meeting was a resounding success. There were plenty of people present and plenty of ideas thrown around.
