Here's a little town I found accidentally: Marysville, located in the county of St. Clair, on the shores of the St. Clair River, at the bottom knuckle of Michigan's Thumb. It's the only town in that lower knuckle...sure, others are close, like Smiths Creek and Kimball, but Marysville has 'em beat.

Knoblock And Soper To Debut American Custom Marine Raceboat At The St. Clair River Classic
The owner of American Custom Marine in Kimball, Mich., Michael Knoblock doesn’t simply enjoy speed on the water. Knoblock makes his living selling powerboats, from new Nor-Tech center consoles to pre-owned V-bottoms and catamarans, that deliver it. His most recent personal pleasure-boat, for example, was a well-known Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats 51 GTX called Mamba. Then-powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 1075SCi engines, the Dean Loucks-painted 51-footer topped 120 mph.

In fact, it’s usually followed by the opposite: slapping on some new burden. In the most recent example, the City Council is forcing the Brookside Bar & Grill to get a new, revised liquor license that restricts the use of their backyard property to the “hardscape patio” even though no such restriction exists for their current license.
