September Is When Wawa and Sheetz Will Officially Collide
A Wawa store is expected to open in September in central Pennsylvania and the heart of Sheetz territory. Wawa is slated to open its first Dauphin County store in Middletown, Central Pennsylvania, on Sept. 18. Its part of a vanguard of 40 Wawa locations planned in that region by 2030.

ARLINGTON (KDKA) - All eyes were focused on Texas on Tuesday night as the Pirates rookie phenom Paul Skenes began the night as the National League's starting pitcher in the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. In the 94th Midsummer Classic, Skenes was able to toss a scoreless first inning, facing four batters, and showing off his triple-digit skills, topping out at 100.1 mph. Former Yankees pitcher who threw perfect game opts out of Pirates deal
Right-hander Domingo German was released by the Pirates this week, per the transaction log at MiLB.com. He’d been pitching with their Triple-A affiliate in Indianapolis. Robert Murray of FanSided reports that German exercised an opt-out clause in his contract, prompting the release. The Bucs remain open to bringing him back, per Murray — presumably on a new minor league pact.
