The Lake Placid IronMAN featured fans flooded across Main Street cheering on triathletes as they traversed through the 140.6 course of swimming, biking and running. They motivated 2024 IronMAN Lake Placid champion Trevor Foley to pass the original course record set in the Olympic Village last year by Joe Skipper. While her office has not revealed any further information regarding the announcement, Chautauqua County Executive P.J. Wendel, who was a guest on WDOE's "Viewpoint" program on Monday, confirmed that her event will be in regard to Wells Enterprises. Hochul's announcement is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM at the Armory.
