LUBEC, Maine (WABI) - A night out made an unexpected turn for a few people in Lubec. “We were eating dinner and all of a sudden we heard a bunch of splashing. And I don’t know if the thresher shark was chasing bait or really, what was going on, but all of a sudden it came flying out of the water and landed on the beach,” said Wes Crockett, one of the people who saved the shark.
