The city of Fort Thomas will celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday on Wednesday, July 31, starting at 3 p.m. at the Fort Thomas Mess Hall. The celebration of the popular fictional character’s birthday will feature a photo booth, a Hogwarts house ‘sorting’ ceremony, Harry Potter trivia, birthday cake/ food trucks, live animals and reptiles and the showing of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” in the Tower Park Amphitheatre at dusk.
Three Charged With Drug Possession In Trigg County
Two women and one man were charged with drug possession after they were found sleeping in a vehicle on Main Street in Cadiz Saturday morning. Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 26-year-old Sarah Dunn of Gracey was found sleeping in the driver seat and gave law enforcement consent to search the vehicle.

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man is behind bars after a police pursuit involving a motorcycle on Saturday in Glasgow. Anchorage Paramedic Drowns At Barren River Lake
A Louisville-area paramedic died while swimming at Barren River Lake on Monday afternoon. The man was identified as 35 year-old Christian Smith, from Louisville.
