Man and officer injured in shootout in Fort Collins
FORT COLLINS, Colo — A Fort Collins Police officer and another person were injured in an exchange of gunfire at a cemetery Sunday, the police department said. Police said around 12:40 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of Bryan Avenue and Mountain Avenue, near City Park. Police said "the driver exited the vehicle with a firearm and exchanged gunfire with officers, then ran toward Grandview Cemetery."
"Greeley Recreation Offers Variety of Summer Camps for Kids"
The Greeley Recreation in Greeley, Colorado is offering various summer camp options for kids before they return to school. Next week, they are hosting Minecraft Engineering with LEGOS and Northern Colorado Rush Soccer camp. The week after, kids can join the Hockey (Cub 2+), climbing, and volleyball camps. UNC Baseball top prospects: Stevenson stands out as No. 11 in D1 list
Three UNC baseball players have been named among the top 100 college prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft by D1 Baseball, with Luke Stevenson leading the trio at No. 11. Stevenson, a rising sophomore, impressed in his freshman year with a .284 batting average, 14 home runs, and 58 RBIs, showcasing his skills both offensively and defensively behind the plate. Left-handed pitcher Folger Boaz also made the list at No. 29, displaying potential as a top prospect before a season-ending injury. Additionally, right-hander Cameron Padgett was ranked at No. 94, set to potentially take on a larger role in the upcoming season under coach Scott Forbes.
