Bat houses approved, tiki bar denied at Pettibone by La Crosse Park Board
Some changes to Pettibone Park were brought before La Crosse’s park board on Thursday. Approved was a plan to install bat houses in the park. Staffers say as many as 500 brown bats have been living under the Pettibone bridge, and the elevated houses would give them a better place to stay.
