4 teens involved in UTV rollover in Vernon County
VIROQUA, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – 4 teens have been released from the hospital after being injured in a UTV crash yesterday afternoon (8/18/24). The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office says they got a call for the crash in Viroqua at 3:45. The sheriff’s office says a 14-year-old was driving and tipped the vehicle while trying to make a turn. The driver and three passengers, who were all 14 or 15, were taken to the hospital and released that evening. No seatbelts or helmets were being used in the crash.
Lewis enters not guilty plea to drug charge; Joswick also goes before judge in the case
A drug trafficking suspect pleads not guilty in La Crosse County court. La Crosse police investigator Andrew Tolvstad testified that drugs were found hidden inside Lewis’s underwear when he was taken to jail. Lewis is accused of dealing drugs from the Division Street home of Christina Joswick, who is charged with seven criminal counts in the investigation.
