Airlines keep adding seasonal routes at RSW in Fort Myers. Avelo announced a new destination

Another seasonal flight is being added to Southwest Florida International Airport's (RSW) routes list.

Avelo Airlines announced (July 24) it will launch a new nonstop route this fall between RSW and Coastal North Carolina’s Wilmington International Airport (ILM) .

When will Avelo's new route start at RSW?

Starting Nov. 7, Avelo will operate this route twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, utilizing its Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.

Avelo will now serve four nonstop destinations from RSW:

• Currently it offers nonstop service to Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN)
• The Research Triangle’s Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
• Philadelphia / Delaware Valley region’s best airport – Wilmington Airport (ILG)
