Manhunt over in Arkansas; Homicide suspect found in woods

MORRILTON, Ark. (Arkansas State Police) — Morrilton Police Department, Arkansas State Police and the Conway County Sheriff’s Office took Stacy Lee Drake , 50, into custody at about 10 a.m. Thursday in a wooded area south of University Boulevard and Poor Farm Road.

Drake was taken into custody without incident after a manhunt that began late Tuesday after two bodies were discovered at a Propane Company in the Fort Smith Arkansas area, but over the line in Oklahoma. The Arkansas National Guard and the Arkansas Division of Community Correction assisted in the search.

“Drake is wanted in connection with homicides and carjackings in Oklahoma and is wanted on other felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions, with charges including aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.”
