Community Corner: Top Ladies of Distinction to celebrate its 10th anniversary

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV)- On this morning’s Community Corner, we are focusing on the work of Top Ladies of Distinction, a humanitarian organization dedicated to serving young people and adults across the country.

Lady Saundra Maynor, the chapter’s president, joins News 3’s Kim Gusby to tell more.

A nonprofit that started back in 2014 serving the Bryan and Liberty counties area; geared around working with other organizations such as “Keep Liberty Beautiful”, “Keep America Beautiful”, “Status of Woman”, “Top Teens of America”, and many others to help within the local community.

The organization has 125 chapters across the United States and has plans to charter its first overseas chapter in Nassau, Bahamas, at the end of June.

The Bryan/Liberty counties chapter is labeled as a Diamond Chapter, which means that they have done everything they are asked of at the National level.

With 10 years in the game, the chapter is looking to celebrate “in large, and in charge”.

Next month, the chapter will host its 10th anniversary celebration, and you are invited to attend.

The Top Ladies of Distinction 10th anniversary celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Club Stewart in Fort Stewart with a very special keynote speaker.
